Appointments in Top Positions

Pleased to confirm appointments  of  Silvan Fleri to top position of General Manager for Focal Maritime Services and  of Jesmond Abela as Deputy General Manager. 

Silvan is a graduate in management from the University of Malta and has twenty five years experience in the maritime industry.  He acquired his expertise throughout the nine years that he was employed at Sea Malta where he held various positions of responsibility including that of Chartering and Bunker Manager.  He has been in the employment of Focal Maritime for sixteen years, the last seven of which in the position of Deputy General Manager.  This position of Deputy General Manager  is now assumed by Jesmond Abela – a veteran in the maritime industry.  Jesmond’s experience covers ship agency, freight forwarding and company representative in Libya. 

Through these promotions Focal Maritime has laid down the succession plan for the next phase of development.
